![]() ![]() ![]() Celestron is a well known brand and makes a couple of versions of low cost digital microscopes. I read the post on the Dino-Lite microscope and seems good enough for me right now but there are other brands out there. Does anyone have any recommendations for a half way decent digital microscope that I can connect to my laptop? I'm not looking for publish quality photos, just decent resolution to see what I have collected. I just found a bunch of tiny sparkling garnets, epidote crystals, hematite crystals and lots of unknown acicular crystals in vugs in a scarn deposit and they are incredibly beautiful at 10x in my cheapy loupe. All I have now is a 10x loupe with a built in LED that I bought at the Tucson show for $5.00.
